ESET Mail Security 4 for Microsoft Exchange Server (EMSX)

During installation:

1. Open the email containing your nod32.zip file for your Exchange server.
    
2. Right-click the file and click Save As.
    
3. Rename the file to nod32.zip, then save the file to the Desktop of your Exchange server.
    
4. From your Desktop, right-click the nod32.zip file and click Extract All. Save the extracted files to the Desktop.
    
5. You will be prompted to add the license file when installing ESET Mail Security 4 for Microsoft Exchange Server (EMSX). Click Add and navigate to the MailSecurity.lic file located on the Desktop of your Exchange server and click Open.

6. If you successfully load your license file, the license will automatically appear in the License manager window. Click Next to continue the installation.

After installation:

1. If ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server is already installed on the server, open the program by clicking the icon in the Windows notification area or by clicking Start All Programs ESET ESET Mail Security ESET Mail Security.
    
2. Press the F5 key to open the Setup window.
    
3. Expand Miscellaneous, click Licenses and then click Add. Navigate to your MailSecurity.lic file, select it and click Open.
   

   Important! EMSX License Files

   Be sure the file you select has an extension of .lic, because the product will not recognize the .zip file. If you are running a previous version (4.2/4.3) of EMSX, your license file will be named nod32.lic.

4. If you added your license file successfully, you will see your license details in the Licenses module. When you are finished, click OK.

ESET Remote Administrator

1. Open the email containing your nod32.zip file for your ESET Remote Administrator.
    
2. Right-click the file and click Save As.
    
3. Save the file to the Desktop of the computer where ESET Remote Administrator is installed.

   NOTE:

   If you are using ESET Remote Administrator 3.1.10 or earlier, you will need to extract the .lic file before adding it to your ESET Remote Administrator Console. Right-click the nod32.zip file and click Extract All.... Save the extracted files to the Desktop.

4. You will be prompted to add the license file when installing ESET Remote Administrator. Click Browse... then navigate to the nod32.zip file located on the Desktop of your ESET Remote Administrator machine and click Open.

5. If ESET Remote Administrator is already installed on the machine, open the ESET Remote Administrator Console by clicking Start All Programs ESET ESET Remote Administrator Console ESET Remote Administrator Console.
    
6. Click Tools License Manager... Browse. Navigate to your license file, select it and click Open. Click Upload to Server
    
7. Once the license information has been populated (Upload to Server button will be grayed-out), click OK.

   NOTE:

   If you are using ESET Remote Administrator 3.1.10 or earlier, you will need to extract the .lic file before adding it to your ESET Remote Administrator Console. Right-click the nod32.zip file, click Extract All and save the extracted files to the Desktop. 

ESET Endpoint Security / ESET Endpoint Antivirus (for mirror configuration only)

1. Open the email containing your nod32.zip file for your ESET endpoint product.
    
2. Right-click the file, click Save As and then save the file to the Desktop.
    
3. From your Desktop, right-click the nod32.zip file, click Extract All and then save the extracted files to the Desktop.
    
4. Open the main program window by clicking the ESET icon next to your system clock, or by clicking Start All Programs ESET ESET Endpoint Security or ESET Endpoint Antivirus.
    
5. Press the F5 key to display the Advanced Setup window.
    
6. From the Advanced Setup tree, expand Tools Licenses and click Add. Navigate to your license file (nod32.lic), select it, click Open and then click OK.

ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Editions (for mirror configuration only)

1. Open the email containing your nod32.zip file for your ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
    
2. Right-click the file and click Save As....
    
3. Save the file to the Desktop of your machine.
    
4. From your Desktop, right-click the nod32.zip file and click Extract All.... Save the extracted files to the Desktop.
    
5. After installing ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus, open the main program window by clicking the icon next to the system clock or by clicking Start All Programs ESET ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
    
6. Press the F5 key to open the Advanced Setup window.
    
7. In the Advanced Setup tree, click Miscellaneous Licenses and then click Add....

8. To add your license file, navigate to the nod32.lic file located on the Desktop of your machine and click Open OK.
