What do I do with my ESET server and endpoint product license files? (4.x)

KB Solution ID: SOLN2253|Last Revised: January 28, 2014

Issue

  • Importing your ESET-issued license file into your ESET product

Important information about your .lic files

  • .lic files contain the license expiration date and number of workstations for which the license is valid, and are necessary in for your product to function properly. You will be emailed your license files after the order has been processed for your ESET product.

  • Users with multiple .lic files: If you are experiencing issues with ESET Remote Administrator not properly recognizing clients for which you received license files at different times, verify that each license file was issued under the same customer name, company name and email address.
