How do I uninstall or reinstall ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Linux Desktop?

Due to newer program releases or corrupted installations, reinstalling ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Linux Desktop is sometimes necessary. The steps below demonstrate how to download, uninstall and reinstall your ESET security product.


Download

NOTE:

You will need your unique username and password to download your ESET security product. Please reference your confirmation email for this information or click here to retrieve your username and password.

Important!

Please check your operating system version before downloading. RENEWALS: If you renewed after your license expired, it will take 12-24 hours before you can use your username and password to download the latest version.

  1. Download your ESET security product using the appropriate link below:

    32-bit Download    64-bit Download

  2. When prompted, click Save and save the file to your Desktop.
     
     

Uninstall ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Linux Desktop

  1. Click Applications System Tools ESET NOD32 Antivirus Uninstaller.
     
  2. After completing the uninstallation, you will be prompted to restart your system. Click Yes.
     

Reinstall

  1. Navigate to your Desktop or wherever you saved the installer file, right-click it, and select Properties.
     
  2. Click the Permissions tab and select the check box next to Allow executing file as program. Click Close.

  3. Double-click the installer file and follow the instructions in the ESET Installation Wizard.
