How do I temporarily disable ESET Smart Security/ESET NOD32 Antivirus?

- You need to troubleshoot or install third party software that requires you to temporarily disable your antivirus software
Warning:
Be sure to re-enable Antivirus and antispyware protection after you are finished troubleshooting or installing other software applications by clicking the Protection status icon 
Enable all antivirus and antispyware protection modules (Antivirus and antispyware protection will be turned on automatically if your computer is restarted).

- Open ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus. How do I open my ESET product?
- Click the Protection status icon Temporarily disable protection. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm this action.

- In the Temporarily disable protection window, select the length of time you would like to disable protection from the Time interval drop-down menu. Click OK to continue.
